Shirley Jean Tucker is an accomplished Canadian playwright, director, designer, educator, and frequent theatre workshop presenter. Much of her work reflects site-specific history that is intended to celebrate the regional characteristics of Canada.

She has produced or written the following plays since 2000:

  • The Supper Waltz

The Great TransCanada Hike of 1921-The First Transcontinental Foot Race From Halifax To Vancouver Along The Railroad Tracks, a nonfiction book, should be published in 2010.
