Mom Tips: Get Clear Skin With Skin Free

Having acne and rosacea at 38 is totally not cool. Though I like looking like a teen, I can do much better without the breakouts that comes with it. My only wish is to find something that would help me clear it up before my two girls become teens themselves. Can you imagine the three of us going through the acne phase all at the same time? That would be awful … and awkward!

All my life, I’ve been in constant search for a skincare that is free of chemicals that can deal with my sensitive skin but as effective as those chemical laden skincare out there. So when I got an offer to review the Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap & Shampoo Bar and Super Moisture Butter Creme, I didn’t think twice about doing it.

I’ve been using the two products for two weeks now and…

The Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap & Shampoo Bar has helped lighten up my blemishes. I love the fact that it does not have chemical preservatives, fragrance, or colorants. It was awarded the National Eczema Association Seal Of Acceptance in August 2008. While other soaps were stuffed with harmful chemicals, this soap is “superfat” with extra virgin olive oil, which contains natural anti-inflammatory agents, anti-oxidants, and natural vitamins that aid in healing and soothing your skin. Maybe that’s why the bumps on my face has been reduced in those two weeks of using it. Naturally moisturizing shea and cocoa butters were also added to reduce the tight, dry feeling normally experienced when using typical commercial soaps.

Honestly, I don’t feel any tingling on my face when I use this, which is really important to me. Coz no matter how expensive a skincare is, if I feel anything in my face the first time I use it, I’m bound not use it anymore. Redness, and blemishes usually follow the tingling sensation. It’s like they’re having a party in my face, which is not fun at all.

I love that this soap has a creamy lather that makes my skin feel rejuvenated and fresh. And my face doesn’t feel tight and itchy from dryness at all. My husband and kids use it too. We all love the richness and how it moisturizes the whole body. And for the price of $3.99 a bar, I might even have our pug Zoe use this!

The Super Moisture Butter Creme provides extraordinary moisturizing properties but has a very light feeling. They have taken the soy oil out of this product for those who are allergic to soy. My kids have rough spots on their arms and legs which tends to get itchy everytime I put ordinary lotions. With the Skin Free Super Moisture Butter Creme, they don’t complain that their skin is itchy anymore so my hope is that with continued use, it will eventually get rid of their rough spots.

This lotion is known to be very effective for red, irritated, flaky skin, cracked and dry feet, hands, elbows or wherever you need an intensive moisturizer. Retails for about $12.99 for an 8 oz. bottle, and a product this good is totally worth it.

Thanks to Julie Hilton, a compounding pharmacist and natural products manufacturer, for introducing me to your Skin Free products which are 100% natural and 100% non-toxic per Environmental Working Group evaluation. Me and my family are not only hooked to Skin Free now, but are forever grateful for these affordable, effective, and safe skincare products.
